Hi! We are Ebony and Nathan, the couple behind Little Treehouse Child Care Centre. I’ve (Ebony) spent my career working in early childhood education, and from the very beginning I knew this was where I belonged. There’s something incredibly special about watching children grow in confidence, discover the world around them, and knowing you’ve played even a small part in that journey.

After years of working in the industry, I realised I wanted to create something that truly reflected my own values. I dreamed of a place where children felt at home, families felt supported, and educators were empowered to make a genuine difference every single day. That dream became reality when I opened my own childcare centre.

For me, it’s never just been about providing care. It’s about building relationships, creating memories, supporting parents through the chaos of everyday life, and giving children a safe, fun and nurturing environment where they can thrive.

Recently, my family and I made the big move from beautiful Albany to begin this new adventure. It wasn’t an easy decision, but it was one we made with excitement and hope for the future. Starting fresh in a new community has reminded us just how important connection is, and we’re so grateful to be building those relationships with local families every day.

When I’m not at the centre, you’ll usually find me outdoors, exploring, camping, travelling or soaking up time at the beach. Those moments inspire the way I approach childhood too—filled with adventure, curiosity and a love of nature.

Owning a childcare centre isn’t just my job; it’s something I genuinely care about. Every family who walks through our doors becomes part of our story, and I feel incredibly lucky to do what I love while helping children create the foundations for their future.

Nathan has been by my side since the very beginning of my pursuit in opening my own child care centre. You will see Nathan around the centre occasionally, helping out with maintenance and supporting our team. 

Nathan works as a heavy diesel mechanic on the mines, we live the FIFO lifestyle, which has its challenges but it works for our family.

Nathan also enjoys going off grid, exploring the country around us and camping. He also has a passion for building cars, specifically vintage style and has built his daily car from the ground up! If you see him around, ask him about it!
