About Us

At Little Treehouse Child Care Centre, our story began long before the doors of our centre opened.

Growing up in regional Western Australia, childhood was filled with adventure, imagination, and long days spent outdoors. One of my fondest memories was playing in a huge tree that became my own little world — a place for creativity, storytelling, and endless imaginative play. That sense of wonder and belonging inspired the name Little Treehouse and continues to shape the environment we strive to create every day.

From an early age, I knew I wanted to work with children. I began my journey studying my Certificate III and Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, and since then have worked across many different areas of education and care. The majority of my career was spent at a not-for-profit child care centre, where I developed a strong appreciation for the important role child care plays within the wider community. It taught me that early learning is about so much more than education — it’s about connection, support, belonging, and building meaningful relationships with families.

Over the years, I’ve also had the opportunity to work overseas as an au pair, as well as in long day care, OSHC, and primary schools as an Education Assistant. Each experience helped shape my understanding of children’s development and reinforced the importance of creating nurturing environments where children feel safe, valued, and genuinely cared for.

The dream of opening my own centre came from wanting to create something more personal — a place that feels welcoming, authentic, and family-focused. I wanted to move away from the larger “franchise-style” approach and instead build a centre where relationships come first, children are truly known as individuals, and families feel like part of a community.

Today, Little Treehouse Child Care Centre is proudly family owned and operated, built on genuine care, strong community values, and a love for childhood. We are passionate about creating a warm, fun, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, imagine, and thrive — just as they should.

We’re so grateful to share this journey with the families in our community and can’t wait to welcome you into ours.
