2 cups plain flour

2 tablespoons cream of tar tar

1 cup salt

2 cups hot water

2 tablespoons oil

Combine dry ingredients, then add wet ingredients and stir. Add more flour if recipe is to sticky

1 cup corn flour

Add water slowly until it becomes a gooey mess that looks liquid, is solid as you scoop and then melts of your hand. the best bit is you can adjust the consistency!

Coloured Rice, Sand or Pasta

Rice, Pasta or sand

Food colouring

Splash of vinegar

Place rice, sand or pasta in a zip lock bag

Add food colouring and a tiny splash of vinegar.

Get as much air out as possible and zip tight.

Shake, rub, roll the bag between your hands until all the rice sad or pasta is coloured.

Let the children help with this, they'll have fun!

Lay it out on a baking tray to dry overnight before playing with it
